 Hagan Benefits, Inc. / Governmental Pools / SBI  Safety Benefits, Inc. provides loss control services to members of the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance. Service SBI provides training seminars and quarterly newsletters on liability and safety issues. We review claims to help identify trends and situations that need to be addressed, and are available for consultations on specific liability and safety issues as they pertain to members. Products SBI: Reducing Liability The purpose of loss control is to reduce liability exposurse to the governmental entity and increase employee safety. Members can make more effective use of public funds, decrease overall costs, increase productivity, reduce losses to the community and identify exposures to be completely avoided. Also, by utilizing loss control principles, members can reduce the uncertainties associated with future projects. Our loss control services include recommendations made as a result of on-site surveys of member organizations and facilities. These recommendations offer members an opportunity to correct hazardous workplace situations while decreasing exposure to certain liabilities. Qualifications Any member of the SDPAA is eligible to apply. Participants must be approved by the Administrator. |
