PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Hagan Benefits, Inc. - Sioux Falls, SD Underwriting Manager - (1991 - Present) I am responsible for underwriting, customer service and marketing of the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance, a risk sharing pool for public entities for the State of South Dakota. Coverage includes General Liability, Public Officials (E & O), Automobile Liability and Physical Damage, Law Enforcement Liability and Property. My responsibilities include policy issuance, providing the proper risk ratings, endorsement requests, coverage questions, proposal development and customer relations. I frequently work with customers to develop coverage programs suited to the needs of their entity. My professional commitment has contributed to a substantial increase in our customer base in a very competitive market, more marketing of complementary coverages and the development of a relational database management program for the SDPAA for rating, policy issuance, and reporting requirements.
